SPECIFICATIONS:

Exit devices shall be Dorex 9500 series. Exit devices shall be push pad type and meet ANSI/BHMA A156.3, Grade 1 requirements; be cULus listed for Panic Hardware; and/or 3 hours Fire Exit Hardware. Exit devices shall be fi eld sizeable for door widths of 30” (762 mm) to 36” (914 mm) or 36” (914 mm) to 48” (1219 mm) and project no more than 2 1/2” (64 mm) from the door face. Rim exit devices shall be non-handed; have a stainless steel 3/4” (19 mm) throw latch bolt; have stainless steel springs. Vertical rod exit devices shall have surface mounted rods; be handed and fi eld reversible; be capable of being fi eld modifi ed to less-bottom-rod confi guration. Vertical rod exit devices shall have an auxiliary fi re latch for fi re-rated openings in less-bottom-rod confi guration. Non-fi re rated exit devices shall have hex-key dogging. The exit device shall be supplied with all the necessary mounting fasteners.
