The Dorex DM series heavy-duty mortise locks are designed for rugged high traffic institutional, commercial or residential applications. Available in a wide variety of functions, trim styles and finishes. DM series mortise locks provide a clean architectural appearance and offer maximum flexibility.

SPECIFICATION:

All mortise locksets shall be Dorex DM series. Locksets shall meet ANSI/BHMA A156.13, Series 1000 Grade 1 requirements. The mortise locksets shall be rated for use on swinging fire doors with a rating up to 3 hours and conform to ANSI/UL 10C. The locksets shall enable single action egress and the lever trims shall meet ADA requirements. All locksets shall have a 2 3/4” (70 mm) backset with a 3/4” (18 mm) throw brass latch bolt and accommodate doors with a standard 1 3/4” (45 mm) thickness. The front face shall pivot to easily enable the locksets to be installed on doors with beveled edges (up to 1/8” (3 mm) over 2” (51 mm)). Locksets with a deadbolt function shall have a 1” (25.4 mm) throw and the brass deadbolt shall have hardened steel pins, for increased security. Locksets with cylinder function shall have a 6-pin, rekeyable mortise cylinder with Schlage “C” keyway, drilled for construction keying. Locksets shall be handed and easily field reversible without having to disassemble the lock case. OPTIONAL: Kits shall be available for 2” (51 mm) and 2 1/4” (57 mm) door thicknesses. All locksets shall have optional square rosette, narrow escutcheon, large engravable escutcheons trims and selection of lever styles available. Small format interchangeable core (SFIC) and CX5 High Security cylinder models shall be available.
