I've been using the powerbolt that Home Depot sells for a 7 years now. I have gone thru 3 units & the third was about to crap out Again! Enough is enough, I wasn't going to keep buying a lock that had a 2 to 3 years life span. I called a locksmith company & they said that the powerbolt wasn't really made for our weather in Canada. That made sense, the lock always seemed to break down in the winter or early spring. He suggested that I check out the Sunnect lock that they sold online. Was I ever surprised about the differences between department store locks & ones you buy from a locksmith. I always saw the ones at Home Depot & thought they had the best. Wrong Move! The Sunnect was everything I could ask for in a keyless lock. It looks great on the door, it heavy duty (it weighs 3 times what the powerbolt does)& it works amazingly well. I also have a choice when entering my house between the nice looking pushbutton or the cool little keyfobs they have. Definitely a lock that I recommend.
