 Construction:
Fireproof gun safes are built with 1/4" steel in the door and 1/8" steel in the rest of the body. All sides include 2 UL-recommended 5/8" layers of sheetrock-like fire-retardant material. The great feature about this model is that it has a filled door: unlike many cheaper gun safes which present the fire retardant layer behind the boltwork, this safe has the fire retardant layer at the front of the door just like our more advanced jewelry safes.

Protection:
The locking mechanism is protected by a state of the art steel hard plate that effectively negates attempts to access the safe by punching out or drilling the lock.
